Every question has a “Why did I pick this answer?” box. You write one line while you still remember what you were thinking.

Your teacher sees the mistake BEHIND the mistake

A score only says how many you got wrong. Those lines say WHY — which wrong assumption keeps coming back, so the next lesson fixes exactly that.

Scope: the reasoning box is currently available in reading và listening. Writing and mock exams do not have it yet.

1,000,000₫ for a 90-minute lesson. A plan usually runs 12–20 lessons, around 12,000,000₫–20,000,000₫ in total. The real number comes out of the test, and you see it in the plan before you continue.

What is the placement test fee, and is it required?

It is one session with a teacher: they hear you speak, read what you write, and measure all four skills. Yes, it is required — without it nobody can write a plan for you. The fee 200,000₫. If you carry on, the fee counts towards your tuition; if you do not, it has paid for the test session. The money is not lost either way: the test is a real session with a real teacher, so if you continue it counts as the first part of your tuition, and if you stop it has paid for that session.

How many lessons is one study plan?

Usually 12–20 lessons of 90 minutes each. A solid base with a few habits to fix means a short plan; starting from zero or aiming at an exam means a longer one. How many lessons per week is between you and your teacher.

Where do lessons happen — do I need Zoom?

No. They happen in the eDeutsch classroom, which opens in your browser with the account you already use — video, chat, screen sharing, whiteboard. Nothing to install, no extra password to remember.

How does my teacher follow my progress?

In reading and listening practice, every question has a “Why did I pick this answer?” box. Your teacher reads that line next to the answer you chose and the correct one, so they see which wrong assumption keeps coming back — not just how many you got wrong. Available in reading and listening today; writing and mock exams do not have it yet.

I am taking an eDeutsch self-study course — can I combine the two?

Yes, and that is the best way to use it: your teacher sees which Kapitel you are on and where you keep getting things wrong, so the lesson goes straight to the sticking point. Your self-study course stays exactly as it is.

Do I pick the teacher, or do you?

You can pick in the form above, or let us suggest someone. If it does not click after a lesson or two, say so and we will switch — it happens, and you do not owe us an explanation.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

Can I change my request after sending it?

Yes. Sending the form again updates the request you already have instead of creating a second one. Inside the app it lives under Settings → the “One-on-one” tab.
